David Bannon is a translator and the author of Wounded in Spirit and Songs on the Death of Children. He taught college for many years and has appeared on The Discovery Channel, A&E, The History Channel, NPR, Fox News and in The Wall Street Journal. His daughter, Jessica, died in 2015. He currently writes on grief.
